As I commence my yearly reflection, I am convicted of my expectation of perfection from those I love. Subconsciously we expect those we love to somehow always do right by us. As we go into the new year, I urge you all to look inwards, To make room for self improvement and better relationships
When someone rubs you the wrong way, before you act, take a step back, Ask yourself, what were their true intentions? Sometimes those who love you might even intentionally hurt you, seeking attention or connection. That’s why setting boundaries is crucial. But as you establish these boundaries, don’t forget to Make Room.
Make room for forgiveness.
Make room for reconciliation,
Make room for peace
and most importantly,
Make room for growth
It’s easy to become judgmental, letting our expectations destroy our relationships. Remember, everyone is on their own journey. So let’s make room. In making room, we find true connection and true growth.
Here’s to a year of endless possibilities, as we make room.
Thank you for walking this journey with me.
All my love, ASJ
